 Courses taught in the Stanford MBA and Ph.D. program include Decision Sciences, Data Analysis, Data Based Decision Making, Modeling and Simulation, Computers, and Management Information Systems.

Similar course material has been taught in Stanford's Sloan and Senior Executive programs, and in Stanford Executive programs overseas.

Courses at Santa Clara involve statistical analysis and quantitative methods.

Teaching activities also include seminars for several individual companies, the State of Washington, and the U. S. Office of Personnel Management.

Recent teaching includes a course “Data Based Decision Making; Data Mining”, an elective in the MBA program.

Consulting Activities:

‑ Rand Corporation, Cost Analysis Department ‑ part time 1964-71

‑ Consultant to numerous business firms on the application of statistical and Decision Science techniques and on the design of computer information systems

- Consultant to several law firms and U. S. EEOC on applications of statistical techniques in civil litigation.

-  Consultant to the Board of regents of the State of Louisiana, 2000—2010.

‑ Director, Roman Meal Co.

Other Activities and Honors:

 -          Stanford University Faculty Senate, 1996 – 1999.

-          Davis Award (1999) – Faculty award for outstanding long term service to Stanford

Graduate School of Business

‑ President (1977‑78) and Fellow of the Decision Science  Institute.  Also given Distinguished Service Award, 1989.

‑ Associate Editor at various times for Decision Science and The Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis
